Transmission Lines Leaking!!

First off,

I own a 1985 z28 camaro. It has a 305 gm crate moter and 700r4 tranny. Its primered down with a 4 inch cowl hood. (tried to be as ******* as possible). Anyways, I just put a new transmission in it about a month ago. All of the sudden it has began to leak transmission fluid, not shift, and when it does shift, slip reeeaallllly bad. I pulled it up on ramps to take a look at it and to my suprise the transmission lines were leaking, where they connect to the transmission. I figured they might be loose so i grabbed a wrench and tigtened them up. Cranked it up, still leaked. What do you guys think the problem may be? Is there maybe a seal or something that goes in there? The lines are not stripped out and they are tightening up. Any reply will be greatly appreciated.

Lines may not be seated squarely on fittings and the seat wore
from vibration. I would get a different fitting and line and splice it with a compression coupler. I hope you didn't lose clutches
as a result of the fluid leak.

thanks for the info, i will take a look at it tommorow when i get off school. I hope this fixes it. Also, i dropped the transmission pan and didnt see any more metal shavings than from normal wear and tear, so i do believe the clutches are still in good shape.
