Do you have to replace the clip on the clutch pedal?
Hey, I'm attempting to put my clutch hydraulics back in, except I can't get them to stay on the clutch pedal. It looks like the clip that's on the end of the piston might have broken. Am I supposed to replace it after removing the hydraulics? It's so hard to see because it's up in the dash, so I'm not sure why it's not snapping on, but I think it might have broken when I took it off.
In this picture it's inside the loop at the end of #4.

It comes with new hydraulics...
I guess if your is broken or won't hold on for whatever reason, you have to replace it. It's possible to take the system apart without breaking it, but an old one might be hard to disturb without it falling to pieces.

FYI, GM says to replace those things on the brake and clutch rods any and every time they are removed. Safety thing......
