Does anybody have a picture of an electronic VSS from a T5???

Does it still use plastic gears or does it use a metal reluctor wheel with a magnetic pickup on the sensor????

I'm putting an '89 T5 (had cable speedo) in place of my '90 700R4 (has elec. speedo) and I'm having problems finding the right speedo gear for my 3.23's.

 

It is a plastic gear that goes on the end of the VSS.

IIRC you need a 19-tooth white one, and a blue 7-tooth drive gear in the trans.

My junkyard trans has a BLUE drive gear on the tailshaft. BLUE is for 3.42's. I'm trying to figure out what came with 3.23's without pulling my VSS out.
