SPEC Clutch?

Anyone on here ever used their Stage III clutch? If so hows the daily drivabilty? I see that they offer a ceramic disc which is perfect for my future application. My centerforce is getting worse and worse and I need a new one. Also It'll be a good time to take the clutch out cause the T56 is goin in tomorrow. Any suggestions?

Thanks, Nate

well I havent used it but from what I hear the Stage II is already kinda harsh on the streets. So I'm guessing hte Stage III is almost no way streetable. Thats the one I'm thinking about getting also.

I'll let u guys try it first to see how it is before i get it . I don't think the stage 3 is very streetable for it to be able to hold 680 700 HP. Gotta sacrifice something for the holding power i guess. I'm leaning towards the twin disk clutch that mcleod has out that is suppose to be able to handle huge HP numbers.

I'll be starting my car up for the first time friday with the T-56, Spec Stg 3, and Xe274 cam. I'll let everyone know how nice it is... BTW, i got the 6 puck disc because the spec rep i talked to said it had a much smoother engagement than the 4 puck. Just something to think about for those worried about harshness...

If I'm not mistaken...there may be a group purchase for these over at www.camaroz28.com If you do decide on one of these, you may be able to get a good price for one there.

I have the Mcleod Single Disc for my T56 and it is very good, but i've heard some many raves about the SPEC clutch that i figured it was pretty good. It doesn't really matter too much but i'm gonna stick with mcleod but this time i'm getting the twin disc.

Why not go with an Iron disk ?! J/K man, that would be too much. Hey, let me know if you need a clutch, I'm a dealer for McLeod.

Oh thats cool, which shop in maryland do you work for? I'm in the Owings Mills Area and the Severn/Crofton Area is only about 30-35 min from me. Don't mean to be off topic but to stay on topic. McLeod are Great, "I've heard" SPEC is pretty good.
