Shift lever jumps?!?!
Shift lever jumps?!?!
If i get on it in my car ( T-5 ) the shifter jumps. The whole shift lever goes back and forth pretty violently. It only does this in 3rd mostly and some times in second. Its like the tranny mount is broke or somthing. Could this be? If i get on it hard enough to really brake the tires loose in second it stops. Its only when the tires can decide to spin or not. I think the mount is broke and when the rear raps up the torque arm makes the whole tranny move because of the busted mount.
Has this happened to any of you? It drives me nuts and the big Hurst shift **** allmost broke my hand last time.

The mount is these cars is nothing but a blob of spooge, that's supposed to handle the entire torque of the rear end trying to twist itself. It's the stupidest possible way to design something like that. They always break. They're always broken. Put an Energy Suspension one in it, you'll never have to worry about it again.

I had to get a stock one
I took mine out and sure enough it was busted. I called all over and all they had was the stock one and i needed it cause i have to drive my car
I put it in in about 20 mins and took it for a test drive. I tried everything to make the lever jump and it just wouldnt!!
Thanks for helping find the problem.
