i use high tack on the rear to hold the new gasket in place and hammer out the dimples in the cover and maybe coat it with a thin layer of ultracopper. i use m1 or amsoil gear oil and gm posi additive
thanks ede...now give it to me like i drive a civic
....
what exactly is tack...
and the ultracopper....where EXACTLY am i putting that...on each surface that mates (on each side of where the gaskewt goes)? or on only one side? or other??
thanks, man, just want to iron out the kinks BEFORE i start the job.
p.s. can i get the gasket from a chain parts store?
