Whats a good Torque Converter for a 305 TPI

Hey

I am thinking about getting a 2000 Stall for the 85 305 TPI. I have 3.42 gears with the stock IROC wheels and tire size. Is 2000 to small, Should I go bigger.

Thanks

I'd go to a 2400 stall. I have an L03 car now with 3.27 gears and I have a 3000 stall 9.5" convertor and it works fine. I went with a bigger convertor though because I'm putting a 350 in the car in a few weeks. If you plan on keeping the car pretty much stock, go with the 2400. You can get a stock convetor "re-stalled" to 2400 fairly cheap. Let me know what you decide to do, I'm a dealer for a Torque Convertor company and can probably get you a deal.
