I have seen the average being around $200 including fluid and filter. GM high tech performance magizine did an article on a Trans Go into their "Grapes of Wrath" 4th gen Camaro and the shop that did it charges $375 but that included the shift kit also.

is the trans go shift kit the real heavy duty rebuild? or is it the sheet of metal that slides right up into the trans? if it was the metal, why not do it yourself? I want to but need to find the right shift kit first

What is a sheet of metal that slides right up into the trans???
Are you talking about valve body seperator plates?
The Transgo kit is not a trans rebuild, but it will solve some of the problems associated with the 700R4. I believe it comes with an installation video.
People in this forum say they like the Transgo kit better than the B&M kit. Transgo is a more complete kit that will complement your trans. I really appreciate people that can install these on their own, I probably couldn't, that trans stuff looks really intimidating to me.
