My 700r4 weighed about 175 lbs on the bathroom scale. I had to go quick tho so my wife didn't catch me carrying the tranny into the bathroom.

Why didn't you just carry the scale out to the garage????

I honestly don't know the answers, but the TC weighs more than a sack of horse feed. Flywheel weighs about the same as TC/flexplate, but don't forget the clutch. You can muscle a manual up by yourself (well, I could the last time I tried it anyway), but auto requires a jack.

Scott is a thief...do not do business wit him. I sent him 550$ for his transmission (700r4) 3 weeks ago and I haven't heard a work from him. He will not answer my phone calls, emails, nothing.

You think these flywheels are heavy? You should see what my cousin's '52 Ford has in it... looks like about the same size as a manhole cover, and weighs about that too, lol.
