ok so your positive this is the thing that screws into the bellhousing on the surface that the tranny bolts to? and when u slide the clutch fork in it clips around this?i just wanna be positive its the rigth thing. also it says its adjustable? is this differen't then the stock one? or are they saying you screw it in or out ans thats the adjustment? cause i don;t think u can once the tranny is in. thanks man
I was looking for one of these last month and i couldnt find one that would work. Im not 100% sure about the Summit one but if it works thats the one to go with.
Formula89 was your stock one worn in the shape of a spiral? thats what mine looked like, as of now i am reusing it with no problems, but i definitely want to replace it as soon as i can.
Also does anyone know what benefits the adjustable one has? How will changing the length, etc, effect the clutch ?
thanks
Matt

i just got my new summit and i was lookin aroudn at lakewood sells an adjustable pivot ball for 16.95. it shows a picture. it looks liek it has the big peice that goes into the bellhousing and its taped in the middle and the pivot ball screws in and out of it and has a lock nut. i woudlntl if the tranny wo udl be in the way on our cars??
The lakewood one does NOT fit a stock bellhousing. i don't know about the summit one.
ScottC does it fit?
I bought a lakewood scattersheild, and had to run to the speed shop for the adjustable one because the stock one doesn't fit. Also when going to the scattersheild you may need to adjust it because the new bellhousing might have slightly different dimensions
