part # for pre-bled clutch hydraulics assy

Does anyone have the gm part # for the clutch master/slave hydraulic assembly? Saw a post on it a few months back, but unable to search now.
Thanks.

call the dealer back, and ask them what the part # is on the part they quoted you.

Problem is, there's about 4 or 5 part #s they show for these things, why I have no idea. Last time I wanted one I went to Chevrolet, I ask for the thing for my setup (mine is actually 84 stuff I think, my 83 car didn't come with it at all); they're out of stock on the 84 one. So I have them look it up for a 87 or something . Different part #. Out of stock. So I have them look it up for a 92 or some other year. Different part # yet again, this one they had in stock. I bought it.

It fits fine and works perfect.

Bottom line: just because you came back with a different part # from your dealer, doesn't mean they're screwed up; or that the part # that Scott posted won't work. They may have looked it up right; and even if the book shows some part # other than Scott's for your car, Scott's will probably work fine.

I paid about $95 for mine, with an employee discount. Seems like it was about $110 or so list. $88 sounds entirely believable.

I just bought the entire setup for my TKO swap a few weeks ago. I paid $155. It included the master, slave and reservoir. Came with the hydraulic lines pre-bled.

I'll get the part number off of my invoice when I get home if you don't have an answer yet.

How do you get the dealer price? Do you have to know someone?

Thanks,

You have to make sure they hear and see your car when you drive there.

Then you get
"You work here right?"
"No "
"Yeah you do, you look familiar. I'll give you the shop discount."
"OK "
