Speedo Gear Teeth for 3:42 Gears

I currently have the stock speedo gear which had (2:73 gears) in my (700R4)transmission now. I want to install the right speedo gear with (3:42 Gears), so my speedometer is accurate. Does anybody know how many teeth i need on the speedo gear.

I did a search and found a formula for this. The website is http://www.sallee-chevrolet.com/Chev...tallation.html But i know there is somebody with a auto that has added 3:42 gears.

Yes but they have so many different size tires on our cars no one gear set is coorect. www.700r4.com has a calculator that can help you, they also sell the parts.

If you have the factory size tires on the 16" rims use the 15T and the 41T. That's what I have for my 3.42's...
