What company is selling it? Different companies have different "fixes" for different things.

Sonnax has reproduced the "M" "L" and "K" accumulator valves, and they also make a very stiff 1-2 spring that is supposed to firm up the shifts and eliminate "end bump" (end bump is where the shift gets firmer halfway through the shift causing almost a "double apply" feel)

I was referring to the one probuilt includes with his transgo kit. Sorry, I should have been more specific. I just wanted to know exactly what it does. I did a search a came across an old thread about how transgo fixed this problem in their kit, but i was just wondering what exactly probuilt's does. Thanks

Maybe Probuilt Automatics might know, considering it's his own kit, lol? Any info would be appreciated on this. Thanks

The accumulator (Trans-Go Junior) from Trans-Go addresses the mismatch in accumulation, that is very common with the 700R4. Trans-Go has you change the spring rate in the 2nd gear accumulator servo to match the accumulation rate (spring rate changed here too) of the 1-2 accumulator in the valve body. Almost all (99%) 1988 & up Camaro/Firebird 700R4's have the "B" or "A" accumulator in the valve body. If you make changes that effect firmness, (corvette servo, large boost valves, etc.) you will most likely get a part throttle 1-2 bang shift. This kit will solve that, especially when used with the Trans-Go Performance Shift kit. I combine these two kits when I build a 700R4. Yes, you can have your cake & eat it too.

Isnt there a transgo kit that includes the corvette servo and .500 boost valve? All I'm trying to do is get as much information as possible before i tear into my tranny. I believe in doing it right the first time so i dont have to go back and fix the things i overlooked. By what ure saying is if i get the transgo kit with the corvette servo and .500 boost valve then i will have harsh part throttle shifts and ure kit will solve this? Thank you for ure time and sorry for all the questions. I'm just the type of person that likes to research as much as possible to find out everything i can on what i'm about to do so that i can get it perfect the first time. I would just think that if the transgo kit already came with these pieces that they would have designed the kit to have already fixed the part throttle bang, but thats why i asked this question, because i'm not a transmission expert. Thanks for all your help. It is very much apreciated

The Trans-Go Performance Shift kit for the 4L60E addresses this problem, but why they never solved this for the 700R4, I do not know. I added the Trans-Go Shift kit Junior to the Trans-Go Performance Shift kit along with the Corvette servo & both boost valves. I have been doing this for years, to the Performance Shift kit (that I sell) & when I build them.

What is the difference between the transgo shift kit junior and the transgo performance shift kit?
