Clutch Problem

1991 RS CAMARO with a carb 355 T-56 6 speed and a Fidenza Alum Flaywwheel RAm HD clutch. When in nuetral its fine if I push the clutch in it shutters then stalls the engine if I push the clutch in and try to start it it cranks for 1/2 sec the stops feels like something is grindiing or grabbing but the car does not lurch forward or anything.

Any ideas??????????
