automatic to 5-speed swap
Hey guys. I am thinking about putting a 5 or 6 speed in my 91 GTA. If I could get my hands on a 3rd or 4th gen with a stick how hard is it to do the swap. What parts do you all have to keep off the manual transmission car and what would I have to buy new? Is my car alreasy set up to accept a clutch pedal? Also, what would be the recommended gear ratio to have in the rearend? A stick would make my (as well as any) car sooooo much more fun to drive. Also do you recommend I install a 3rd gen trans or a 4th gen trans. Thanks in advance for the info. Damien Drive on................

go with a 94+ T56 , it gives you a great overdrive, and you can put 3.73s or 4.10s in for great acceleration and still get good gas mileage in OD for the highways.
