Doesn't look that bad to me, is it still balanced?

If its still got good balance, it should be fine. If you are worried about it, there are shops around that can balance it for you. I know around here there is at least on shop that made a custom length driveshaft for an '80 TA fitted with a 454 BBC, so there must be shops that can check that 'shaft for you.

I doubt that did anything at all to it.

I'd run it like it is. I don't think it's hurt in the least, from what I can see in the pic.

A nick in the yoke isn't going to hurt it. A dent will hurt the tubing the shaft is made out of. Get it balanced and run it.

That's nothing. I've helped guys cut and shorten driveshafts.. a little knick in the yoke is nothing to worry about. Even if it does cause a problem (which I doubt it will), you can always repair and machine it yourself if you know how, or take it to a machine shop to fix it.

All worked up over nothing! I could see your concern it if was a dent in the tube. I see no problems, just get it ballanced and run it. The yokes are pretty solid so you wont' have any problems. I know how you feel about it though, I would be pissed off too.

File a claim with the shipper. UPS or Fedex.
