No, they are different. That depends on whether your existing drive shaft is broken, and/or what you intend to do with these 2 transmissions.

What car? Is this a 82 T/A?

What do you intend to do? Swap the 700 in place of the 200?

If so, you need to get the drive shaft, crossmember, torque arm mount, and maybe the torque arm itself from one of these cars with a 700 in it.

And on the '82 the TH700 crossmember isn't a direct bolt-in, have to add two holes to the subframe for the rear-most bolts.

Not a big problem, I did it on my '82 Z28 and just dropped a bolt thru the hole from the body side of each hole. I used a 1/8" thick steel plate to reinforce the sheetmetal, and a lock-washer to hold the bolt still while torquing the nut to the crossmember.

Speedo cable won't reach the sender on the longer TH700 either, gotta replace that.

I cut up my crossmember, moved the center back, welded it, and used the original bolt holes in the subframe. My speedo cable reached just fine. Third-gen 700r4 drive shaft installed. The torque arm mount bolted to the 700r4 without a problem. Cut a couple of inches off the torque arm(it covered up the speedo connection on the 700r4 otherwise) Overdrive sure is nice with 3.73's

Around 2150 rpm at 60 mph. Without overdrive it was 3000 rpm at 60 mph.
