tranny cooler/fittings questions..
ok I should have my new tranny cool & tc today. the cooler apparently has #6AN female on it. I was going to disconnect the lines from the internal rad and hopefully find some f-f adapters from there and run solid line to the cooler. Is there such a fitting to put on the end going into the cooler #6AN Male that can be flared?
thanks

Yes. It would be the same sort of flare series of fittings that fuel lines would use, which is SAE inverted flare. Stock trans cooler lines are 5/16"; so what I would suggest, is using a short piece of braided line with the #6 AN fittings, maybe 6" or a foot long or so; then the appropriate adapter to the stock steel line size; and either cut your stock steel lines to a suitable length and re-flare them, or make new ones from a stick of brake line.
