im swapping in an aftermarket ford 9" housing and am able to get a great deal on some strange axles....but i need to know what length axles i need.

so...can anyone tell me what length axles i should be after for an aftermarket 9" ford housing in an 89 camaro IROC??

Nobody here can possibly tell you that, it depends on how the rear is made. There's way too many possible variations.

Either measure the housing, or find out who built it and get the serial or job # or whatever off of it and ask them.

If it's the same overall length as stock, it will be about 58-5/8" from axle flange to axle flange.
