700R4 TCC connector
700R4 TCC connector
I've been running around in circles for two weeks now trying to fix the code 36 my computer is throwing at me. I know, I know... MAF burnoff. Well, I've replaced EVERYTHING in that system except for the ECM. Still, no luck and code 36. No problems in the ignition either. The last thing on the chart is 'transmission shifting problem'. Since I don't have an electric speedo, the only other electrical connection at the transmission is the TCC. My car has been shifting very smooth when I drive ever since I got it. I was actually like 'wtf' when it shifted into 2nd for the first time at WOT, since even my old '84 T/A LG4 will chirp the tires then. The IROC just sort of slides into second without any sort of jerk. Now, if the torque convertor isn't locking up, what are the chances of it throwing me a code 36 after a few times of operation? I'll have to do the jumper wire at the ALDL to see if the TC is locking up or what.
EDIT: Aren't there supposed to be FOUR wires at that connector? I've only got three.
