700r4 Broke shifting lever BOLT!!!
Ok so I might not be the only one that did this (I hope).I was trying to put my Megashifter in & the bolt on the side of the tranny wouldn't come off to swap over the new shifting lever bracket. I gave it alittle hit & it snapped off(OH FORK) so I was like now what? Is this something that ANY kind of Tranny shop would HAVE IN STOCK? Or is this something That I would have to order? Anyone else ever have this happen??

i live near a tranny shop, he has old valve bodies from EVERY type of tranny you cant hink of, im sure a tranny shop will have one you can have. You could goto a junk yard and pull one outta a valve body maybe.

They might have one laying around somewhere. I think I might have one laying around, but I'm sure you could find one faster then if I sent you one.

thanks for the offer I just broke it yesterday. Tomorrow morning I'm gonna hunt till I find one. I just hope that a tranny shop will carry these. I'm not sure if they have to replace them from time to time when they rebuild them. GMTech if I can't find one I'll PM you. thanks again
broken shaft
You should be able to get one at any tranny shop. Most tear
down cores for hard parts and should have a shaft available. I
looked at a TH350 shaft, and it is not the same. It doesn't have the straight part inboard of the inner nut.
