Hmm...adjusted my TV cable

I pushed the button in and pushed the stopper all the way in towards the firewall.

I released the button and opened the throttle all the way.

That's the way I read to do it, but although my 2-3 shift is firmer, my 1-2 shift seems HARDER (not firmer) and it stays in 2nd forever it seems.

Did I do it wrong or should I have kept the button pushed in while opening the throttle? Everything I read on here didn't say anything about that.

I've been wanting to reset mine too, after installing a shift kit. When I push the button on the side, the little stopper thing doesn't come out, it's stuck in there.

Did some WOT checks....it won't shift out of 2nd at WOT now. I let off at 6k

I pulled it out a lil bit (the TV cable) and it's STILL not shifting out of 2nd at 6K (I let off)

Before I set it, it was shifting fine. The 1-2 still at all the settings shifts right at redline.

Ovrclck350, how are your 1-2 WOT shifts? 86Firebird, it is behind the throttlebody on the drivers side. It's a little D shaped metal button.

1-2 at every setting are fine at WOT...right at redline.

BTW, maybe my TV cable is aftermarket? My button is not D shaped, it's a square.
