v6 5speed work on a 305tpi auto????????
i have an 89 formula (305 tpi 700r4) and i want to put a 5-speed tranny in it. I found a 89 v6 5speed camaro at the junk yard. Will it bolt up to a v8 or will i have to do any mods. I plan on bulding a 383 stroker. im going to rebuild the 5speed to handle it. THANX

In a word....NO. Different bellhousing and input shaft. You need a trans from a V-8.
