Most things I've seen show every 30000 under normal conditions. Why? Same reason you change the oil filer and air filter. The filter filters out the crap and eventually plugs or restricts. This can lower the line pressure and/or circulate the crap through the tranny. Tips: Do it when the tranny is cold and use a very large oil pan to catch the fluid--it doesn't have drain plug. Remove the filter AND the o-ring seal--it commonly stays in the tranny. Lube the new o-ring on the filter with some tranny fluid and install it. Install the pan and gasket, add 4-5 quarts of tranny fluid--check it while the engine is running and in park.

hey dont check the fluid level intill you put it in all the gears for a couple of seconds like 4-7 then put it in park of course then check it if it needs more fluid turn off the car.And add a little less(better safe than sorry) than what you think it needs then check again intill its at the full mark.
