9 bolt swap
Picked up a 9 bolt at the swap meet here in Indy on Sunday. Has 3.27 gears, posi and disk brakes. Hoping that $100 was a good deal on it.
Doesn't have the parking brake cables so I figure I'll need to get those.
I know that it'll bolt right up. Just wondering how to tell what disc brakes are on these. The guy said it was from a 87 or 88 Z-28. Haven't found the axle code on it yet, but it is a Borg-Warner rear end.
Anything I need to look out for when swapping this rear end in? Wont happen till November most likely so I've got some time to plan it and get what parts I'll need.

If its a pre-89 rear, its got the steel Saginaw calipers, which arent the best brakes in the world. (Read: the ebrake sucks) The 89-92 PBRs are much better and are worth the swap if you can find the parts. $100 is a great deal for a working rear end, I paid $200 for my 2.77.
