I've posted pics of the 2 kinds a bunch of times. It's been a while though.

Search this forum for my name and "countergear bearing", go back a year to make sure you get one.

Interesting. I thought my t5 was a regular t5 "86 Z28". Guess it's really a WCT5. :lala:

Here's a better pic than the one I posted before. Top is 1st design, bottom is W .... {heave} ... Wo .... {heave heave} .... Worl ..... {pppuuuuuuukkke} sorry, I just can't say it, too many "Total Quality" seminars and PIT teams and other trendy "pigeon consultant" mgmt guru experiences..... 2nd design

So what your getting at RB is the 1st design is better, how so?

I got my trans out of a wreked 66k Z28, dident know what type it was just it was a T5 with all the swappable parts needed for a stealth non hacked install. Well worth $500.

No, I didn't say that..... I merely have trouble with the "One Minute Manager" "Six Sigma" "Total Quality" "ISO 9002" disgusting buzzword phrase, abbreviated WC. The 2nd design itself is definitely superior.

thanks rb, the one i got is defentley the second design by lookin at ur pics, im pretty happy, popped the case apart yesterday, everything looks brand new and doesnt appear to have any wear on it, fluid was nice and clean, and it has paint marker on the top of it with the address of a speed shop and a number in pa, so i called it yesterday and checked and they verified they rebuilt it in 2000, only has 1200 miles on it since being rebuilt according to the odometer in the car and it appears to be true by looking at the condition of the internals. For 100 bucks i think i got a pretty good deal and i got a free hurst shifter with it and the bellhousing
