is it hitting the speed limiter? sounds like the car is limited at the factory 112mph, and with the gear change that is now 95.

1. Get a custom burnt chip to disable the speed governor
2. Put the correct transmission speedo gear in and have your speedo calibrated correctly.
3. Get the kickdown cable that allows WOT in OD (assuming you have auto). This wont fix the problem though until you get the governor overridden, only allow you to take more advantage of your OD with those gears.
Recommended: all of the above.

if you want a temporary fix so you can go faster than 95...until you get the speedo calibrated correctly....
just splice a toggle switch into the VSS sending unit wire on the transmission, shut it off....no signal to the ecm, no speed limiter

You want an upshift valve. The "kickdown" as he describes it is only the TV cable, and there is only one TV cable and it does it's fuction.... telling the trans how far open the throttle is.

Straight out of the TGO FAQ
Q: Why won't my automatic tranny shift into overdrive at wide open throttle?
A: It's designed not to shift into overdrive if your foot is all the way to the floor. You must be at 2/3 throttle or less before the tranny shifts into OD. So when you hit the top of 3rd gear, you'll have to let off the gas to allow for the shift. But putting your foot back into it will probably cause a downshift resulting in the same problem.
B and M makes a kit modified kickdown valve (part # 70237) which fixes this problem. It costs about $30 and can be ordered through the Summit or Jegs. GM also makes a modified upshift valve which it included in police packages and that part # is 8673948 and sells for around $15. This will allow the tranny to shift into OD at full throttle.
