I want to put the TPI 350 from my 92 firebird in my 93 1500 pickup. The pickup unfortunately has a 460LE tranny. That tranny has 160K so I am thinking of replacing it with a 700R. Thing is I would have to run a TV cable. My understanding is thes are very difficult to set up on a 7004R. I read this web page:

http://www.tvmadeez.com and it sounds almost impossible. Has anyone tried to set up a 7004R in a car not originally equipped?

Do you recommend trying it or should I jerry rig dual ECM setup to control the 460LE with the original ECM and control the TPI with a 7730?

 

The TV setup isn't going to be any different in the truck than it is in the car.
