i pulled the cover, no teeth are broke, but if i spin the tire by hand slowly with the trans in neutal the drive shaft spins in relation to the speed of the tire, but if i spin the tire fast the drive shaft doesnt spin hardly at all, from what i could tell everything in the diff looked the way it should. anybody with 9bolt experience interested in giving any advice as to what the problem is

i guess the thought never crossed your mind that someone with an answer hasn't read your post yet. would you prefer some 16 yr old kid with no experience tell you to do something that ends up being totally wrong? then youd be complaining how idiots answered. dare i say you are the one that deserves the give some people a chance!

As for your problem, it it probably a worn out carrier...go to 9bolt.com and read the faq for the test for a worn out posi...

and next time, try not to insult those who you want to answer your questions...

Thread content: It occured to me that if I were you, I would try and contact Miles on 9bolt.com, or do a search for his ID here on Thirdgen and PM him to ask what else he can suggest for troubleshooting this...I have a 9 bolt in my GTA, so please post a followup when you have figured out the problem...

anyways, you could give miles a shot, im not sure where he has been lately, ive sent him a few emails and so has my friend and we have not gotten any response, not even "youre annoying me, go away!!" lol, jk. i hope he is OK, he has been MIA it seems for a good while.
