rebuild time

my 700r4 was rebuilt sumwhere around 125k, and the car has 165 k on it now, and now ive got tha truck (yes!!) so im thinkin that it's time for a shift kit/and or a rebuild. now ive never done and serious tranny work, but i have done a lot of motor and rear end stuff, so i think i can handle it. so i have a few questions
would it be worth the shift kit right now? ( should i rebuild it with the shift kit?

how dificult is it to do just the shift kit, how difficult is it for the rebuild, and how much does this cost (the rebuild stuff, the shift kit i want is about 130)

thanks guys

shift kits in a 700r-4 are a pain in the ***. If the trans out of the car it is not hard. If It is in the car, let a trans place do it. Save a lot of time and your sanity.
