Which Shift Kit?

I am looking into getting a shift kit for my '84 trans am. It has the 700 R4 transmission in it. Should I go with the transgo shift kit or is there another good manufactuer out there who makes shift kits?

TransGo is the most popular. I have a TransGo kit, and I'ts just fine. I have heard bad things about B&M. I don't know of any others.

It's good - I forgot to tell you I manually upshift all the time, no problems whatsoever. Just don't downshift, it IS an automatic afterall and will do strange (scary) things if not done at exactly right speed/rpm. I always wait for a full stop to drop it back into 1st.

Get the trans-go

Thank you to everyone who has helped me choose the Trans Go shift kit. I would also like to be informed how hard the installation was and about how long it took.
