unless soemone found a 4 speed with the same bolt pattern as a th350 it wouldn't bolt up. chance it could be modified to fit or a bracket made to work. easier to get an aftermarket torque arm. you using a manual clutch with the 4 speed? how'd you work that out?

looking into a retrofit hydraulic throwout bearing to eliminate any mechanical linkage and use standard t5 pedal/master cyl setup. they have this type of t/o bearing available for any muncie, saginaw, t10...

just in the planning stages right now.

Maybe, assuming it clears the shifter, which goes at about the same spot.

You'd probably be better off just getting an aftermarket torque arm.

how was the torque arm attached to the saginaws available in early 3rd gens? did they have an fbody specific tailshaft? if the torque arm clears a saginaw linkage i guess it might work. needless to say i got a b&m bracket used for cheap so ill give it a try..if not ill just fab my own bracket

as much as id like an aftermarket torque arm..thats just not in the budget right now.

(yeah yeah, manual trannies and budgets arent exactly good friends )
