Help Fast!
im changing my axles on my 91 rs today and i am as far as, have gotten the lock bolt out of the differential. the next step is to remove the pinion shaft but the damn thing wont budge!
i've hammered it to death and it moves about 1 mm each direction but thats it. HOW DO I GET THIS THING OUT, i need help asap thanks!

Make sure the rear tires are off the ground completely, and there's no load on them (e-brake should be released). The only time I've had trouble w/ the pinion block not coming out was when the axles were loaded.

still no good, stuck like a rock in there. i just relized my lock bolt is about 3/4 of an inch long, for to short to even thread into the pinion shaft. it doesnt look sheared off or anything. in my Haynes manual is shows a lock bolt atleast 2 inches long. what the hell is going on????

well i figured out that the lock bolt is supposed to be 2 inches long so it DID shear off
.i can touch the remaining inch of the bolt with a screwdriver but theres no chance of unscrewing it. i can see the pin jiggling around when i attempt to stab at it, so i dont think its super tight. i've heard of this happening before but dont know how to get the bolt out. any suggestions on getting this damn thing out will be extremely appreciated
