TV cable quick help

i read the tech artical on how to adjust it, but i dont know what metal thing he is talking about, i pushed on everything and it didnt release it

Transmission: 700R4
It's very simple to do. Push in on the button on the side of the TV cable with a small screwdriver and pull backwards (towards the firewall) on the black cable, release the button. Now take and slowly push the throttle to the wide open position, you will hear a ratcheting sound from the TV cable at this time. Release the throttle and you are done.

PS: this process must be repeated each time the TV cable is disconnected from the throttle.

what part do i push with the screwdriver? is the the black part behind the metal plate?
