I'm going to be doing a 700r-4 swap to t-56 this coming summer and my friend (who works as a mechanic through his co-op) says there is no way im going to be able to get the tranny bolts off by hand ill need an impact wrench. Is he right or will i be able to use all my muscle and swearing (yeah it helps) to get those suckers off.

He also thinks there is no way i can get at the top tranny bolts without tilting the engine using an engine hoist. Can i do this swap in my garage guys or is he right?

 

It is tight but you can get them with the right amount of swivels and extensions.
