th-350 swap

i have searched forever and still do not have a solid answer. i have a th350 with a 6inch regular tailshaft. i have a 700r4 xmember and 700r4 drive shaft. what parts do i need to bolt this th-350 in my car? i have read a hundred different post and wouild just like a definate answer. thanks

Transmission: 700R4/4L60 same trans different name
you either need your driveshaft lengthened or a driveshaft from an 82 f-body with a 200C tranny

you also need the B&M torque arm mount kit

end of story

(although there are other, more expensive options other than the B&M kit)

yep, the drive shaft is the only "problem" area and it's not much of a problem

my camaro was the unlucky 200c model and i had to oblong the X members hole very slightly in order to accept the th350 but otherwise yeah it fits right up

not sure on the speedo, this is mainly a track car, so i am not using one.
