Now that ive fixed the reverse problem (retainer ring on roller clutch installed incorrectly) I have 2 issues to deal with still..

Issue#1 is That I have no engine breaking in Manual 1st gear, it just neutrals itself when i let off the gas.

Issue#2 is that I have very late hard shifts, even under light throttle i get a 4000 rpm shift. adjusting the TV cable or even unhooking it makes no difference. Im assuming this means there is a problem in the TV circuit.. But I checked and doubled check, the valve bounces freely and does not stick.

But still the two obvious things here are Governor, and TV valve. can anyone think of anything else?
