Transmission: 700r4
Axle count
What year cars came with 28 spline axles? I have a 89 TA with the WS6 package, a l03 and a drum brake rear. Do i have 28 spline or 26? how can i tell? number on the rear?
Could buy some parts but need to know for sure if i have 28 spline..some say it changed in 88?

If your 89 has the BW 9-bolt then you have 28 spline axle shafts.
But having the 9-bolt limits your ability to buy parts. A very different rear then the common 10-bolt.
