Car: 96 s-10, and 89 camaro RS
Engine: 305 TBI with alot of mods
Transmission: 700R4 B&M shift kit
Can i use an 84 700R-4 in my 89
The trans is from an 84 trans am. Can i use it in my 89 camaro RS?

You can, but I don't know that you want to. The 700R4s were significantly upgraded in '87. The earlier units use fewer 3/4 clutches, lack an auxiliary valve body, and are generally weaker than the post '87 counterparts.
Unless you are getting the '84 trans real cheap, and/or just need to get the car back on the road, I would search for an '87 up trans as a replacement.
