Bleeding uninstalled slave cylinder??

I am building a hot rod with a 1988 Camaro T-5 and stock slave cylinder setup, and a non stock Willwwood MC. The slave cylinder is higher than the Master Cylinder(under floor) so I am going to attempt to bleed it off the bellhousing, so I can keep the slave cylinder below the MC. Any advice as to whether this will work or how to best do this??
Thanks
