hey guys check the sig for my stats. i just got all my stuff bolted on this weekend and drove the car. the first time i got on it it performed the 1-2 and the 2-3 shift just fine at WOT, and i backed off and it performed the 3-4 just fine. after shutting the car off to check fluid levels and such, i drove it again. this time i nailed it from a roll and it kicked down to second, then the 2-3 shift at WOT was terrible. the rpms started dropping about 1000rpm but 3rd did not engage so i let off the throttle, when 3rd engaged i nailed it again and the 3-4 upshift was terrible. now at any throttle application above about half throttle the transmission upshifts very slowly and sometimes i have to let off to let it slide in the next gear. this transmission also seems to be getting very very hot but i cant really confirm that without a temp gage, i do have a large cooler from a motor home on it so it should be enough. bottom line, at part throttle this transmission shifts ok. the converter locks as it is supposed to, and when i apply throttle it kicks down as it should. once the transmission is in gear it holds just fine, it does not slip. the fluid still looks and smells OK but i am worried about this guys. i called ProBuilt yesterday and he was baffled. he said since it upshifts poorly in all gears that the first thing he would do is check pressure. i may have a cross leak in the valve body, or there may be another problem. i also fear i may have somewhat overtorqued the valve body when i installed it. i am looking for suggestions and want to know if anyone else has experienced anything like this. the car runs very well and it is such a bummer that i cant drive it yet. thanks for all the help guys!
