TCI Manual/Reverse valve body

i have just installed a TCI manual reverse valve body (376010) for my 700r4 trans. when i pull the shifter back (b&M Mega shifter) to go to the 1 position it clicks in but i have no gear, if i push it back into 2nd gear and then push it back into first gear i then have first gear again any ideas? i put everyhing back together as it came apart from the trans, etc. im stumped. thanks in advance.

It's a reverse valve body. Sure your not in fourth gear? Keep in mind the reverse valve body also has no engine braking.

I'm iterested too in the TCI full manual valve body for 700R4.
I can't help you, but instead you can help me. because you installed one!
Purchasing a 376015 700R4 Full Manual with engine braking
(you said you have 376010 reverse pattern without engine braking), the only thing I have to do is to replace the old valve body and separator plate with the new full manual valve body, and to block the stock governor?
This means that IF I don’t like this full manual solution I can return to the old configuration only reinstalling the old valve body? ... Or the installation of the TCI manual valve body requires to drill, tap.. chanching springs or some other permanent modification to the tranny?
Thanks

yeah just drop plates/valve body and disconnect the TV cable and youre done, the governor doenst have to be touched at all and no drilling/tapping is involved

Thanks for your answer.
I burned a chip delaying the engagement of the TCC to 52 mph.
I like this delayed TCC engagement..
The TCC continues to follow the ECM feedback even with the new valve body?.
In the valve body kit, you recived also a corvette sevo?
I emailed two times to TCI with all these questions without answer..
Thanks again

I could be interested,
I need more info on this "transgo prepped valve body/vette servo".
I have a vette, so I have a vette sevo and a stock vette valve body.
You are saying you can sell a vette valvebody, with and installed Transgo shift kit?
The auto/manual or the full manual.
I'm interested on both ways (better auto/manual), but it Must be with engine brake when I let off the gas pedal..
Let me know.

its set up for manual/auto it has engine braking and it will upshift or downshift at any speeds where you put the shift indicator, its the valve body, gaskets, seperator plate, corvette servo, and boost valve all in like new shape with only 100 miles on them. ans yes it has engine braking

Sorry I'm not able to send you an E-amail due to problem here at work..

Some question:
This is a 700r4 valve body. Yes?
This is a 700R4 valve body with all new holes, new passages, new springs and all parts supplied with the Transgo kit?
The valve body comes from a vette? A pre-87 or from a 87-later.

You sad it maintain automatic features in OD?
1-2-3 can be retained at any speed?
If I’m with the shifter in 2 or 3 and I floor it it will downshift?
If I’m at WOT, and I decide to manual shift from 1 to 2 at 4,000 rpm but the governor limit is 4,800 it will shifts? ..or I have to whait the 4,800 llimit when the governor pressure wins the 1-2 shift valve pressure in the valve body?
Why you sell this valve body?
Thanks.
In any case I will send you an email when the thing here at works comes to life..

It will wait to the governor, or you can loosed the TV cable jsut one click
Why you sell this valve body? I have a manual reverse valve body wtih no engine braking that is better for me for racing because of the reverse shift pattern

I'd prefer it without automatic downshift if with the shifter in 1 or 2 or 3.
and I'd prefer an upshift without waiting the governor signal too..
This is why I was looking for a Full manual valve body (with engine brake) even if I'm not happy to completely renounce to the automatic feature..
Also for this valvebody I have only to drop the odl valve body and put in the new one?
All check ***** are in the right place??
If you ask a reasonnable price...
