Ebay item question.
I don't know much about rear ends at all. Will this rear end, not that I intend to buy this one in particular, fit in my 84 Trans Am and hold up against 420 rwhp?

no it's for a truck. the only pieces from the factory that will fit is a 9 bolt, 10 bolt, or dana 44 from a 3rd or 4th gen f body. there are some aftermarket 9" and 12 bolts that will fit.
