Car: 87 tran am gta
Engine: 350
Transmission: 700r4
changing trans.have question/
can you use a v 6 trans out of an other trans am on a v8 350..or will they not work???my 700r4 is no good what other tpye of tranny,s will work in the car??(87 gta has been changed over to carb v8)

No it will not work.
There are no 6-cyl Trans Ams, except for the TTA, and you're not likely to find one of those transmissions laying around, and it wouldn't fit anyway. So it's not something to even worry about.
You need a V8 transmission.
