Well a week ago the car went into a ditch, there is another thread with pics of the damage, and in the process I bent the passenger side axle shaft. A few of the local junk yards don't have any and I stopped at the dealer to see how much one would be and they discontinued the one I need back in 2002. So guys please help me out! I need an axle shaft for a 10-bolt disc brake 2.73 posi C-Clip rear end with 26 splines. I posted in the classifieds and figured more people may see it here also. I found one guy that said he has one but he hasn't told me if it is for disc brakes or not. Does it matter if it is disc or not?

 

doubt it matters what kind of brakes, but not sure. i have complete rear i'd like to sell but shipping would kill you, be cheaper to get another rear.

 

Moser has them for somewhere around $130/ea.

Is there anything special about the Moser Axles? Lighter? Stronger?
