thanxs for all the info that you have put on here so far it has become very helpful. I still have a couple of questions though, on the vss how do you hook it up if you dont have a comp controlled speedo on the 82 it still has the gear what do i need to do I dont have a t56 yet but I am trying to get all the possible info I can before I purchase one so anything about them and installing into an 82 would be greatly appreciated. Thanx all alone in MO.

hey 82z28mo. Could you possibly send me anything you've learned about swapping a t56 for your 200c. I really want to switch to a manual tranny, and 6 speed is a sweet thought.
much appreciated.

:yourock: Your speedometer has a VSS, complete with wiring in the back of it.

I think the problem he is having is that the T56 has a VSS rather than a cable driven speedo attachment.

I agree.
One way is to get a "Cable-X" to drive the speedo cable off the VSS signal.

I have also thought about going with a built turbo 350 what do you think I know that sounds kinda dumb but the change over sounds really comlicated and expensive
