Common leak points from a t5?
My t5 looks as it has been leaking but the whole tranny is pretty much wet with gear oil from driving. Whats the most common spots for the borg warner t5 to leak from?

Front countergear bearing (stretched case)
The large shiny round thing in the pic, that looks like an upside-down freeze plug, which as you can see in this one, has been spinning in the case.

Pretty easy, takes 2 steps....
Step 1. Get another transmission that doesn't leak there.
Step 2. Take out the one you've got and throw it away, and put in the other one.
Like I said, it leaks because the case is stretched. The force between the clutch gear and the countergear tends to try to spread them apart, and there just isn't enough metal there to hold them in place. The whole case is deformed, and the formerly circular hole is now an oval. The one in my pic has it so bad, the bearing didn't even stay still in the case; it was so loose it turned instead of staying pressed in.
