Strange Vibration...Need Input
I have had this strange vibration ever since I bought this car last year. While I'm cruising in 5th gear between say 47 and 53 MPH I get this strange vibration that only occurs with my foot on accelerator. I can cruise in that speed range with my foot off the accelerator and it will be fine, but as soon as I apply any pressure to give it gas the vibration occurs. It feels like its comming from the rear and occurs in a rhythm and I don't know if it has to do with the transmission, driveshaft, or differential?? Any suggestions???

Maybe you stumped them....
Ever done any problem solving? Replace bits one at a time and see if it stops...
Start with the easy stuff. see if you can't borrow/buy a cheap driftshaft and replace it and see if it changes. You could eliminate that.
Jack up the rear end, rotate the rear end, Check for looseness, sounds.
I'm not a mechanic..., had a funny squeak, that's what I did..., still there though, but the replacement driftshaft had a U-joint in way better shape. I kinda settled for it being the brakes, and it seems to have gone away.
