Clucking from rearend when i slow down
Ok guys, i've never thought much of it until now.
FOr the past iunno how long, sometimes my rear end will clunk sorta the whole thing move forawrd when i slow down. Never feel a clunk when i accelerate just when i slow down and only sometimes, there is no way i can see to do it for you, it just happens somtimes.
What could it be?

Mine is doing that too. you can also hear it clunk if you tap the gas quickly.
It could be the Torque Arm bushing, pinion nut, tranny mount, u-joint, etc...
I ordered an Energy Suspension Torque Arm bushing for my Formula today and maybe that will get rid of my clunking since everything else looks good.

Yeah i mean i looked under there and didn't notice anything missing or anything, bt i got my mechanic to even look at it and he still saw nothing he took it for a test drive and it didn't want todo it for him, i dont know what it could be.
My 9 bolt does that in my 89 formula,, nerver did it till i put on lca's and took it to the track
but it was really clunky going over gravel roads,, I allso checked it , and could not see what was making the noise, maybe axles are loose or bearings prehaps, no clue ? either way soon as my new motor goes in im sure i will put my rearend in the junkyard
and in goes a strange or moser.

Check your U-joints. I betcha one is broken or worn out. Might even just be a loose bolt holiding the U-boint on.
