Need some technical measurements

Please help. Can anyone tell me the measurement from backing plate to backing plate of a 1988 F-body differential?
Also what would be the shipping weight of a 350 TPI engine and a 700R4 trans, separately.
Thanks in advance for your help.

think it's around 53-56 inches for the rear
engine would go around 600
trans 150

before you go shipping them you need make sure they're dry or you'll have lot of problems. after you're sure they're dry bag them up real good then bag them again

Thanks EDE, does anyone have a more exact measurement for the rear end? Specifically from inside backing plate to inside backing plate, or if someone could give me the measurement from hub to hub (either disc or drum.)
Thanks again!
